Can I bring my pet with me?

Can I bring my child/family member/friend to volunteer with me?
While we love the enthusiasm to share the volunteer experience, we kindly ask that volunteers refrain from bringing guests during their service. However, we’re thrilled to extend the invitation to your loved ones! Encourage them to join our volunteer program by filling out a quick online application. Let’s create a welcoming community where everyone can contribute to our furry friends’ well-being!

Is there a cost to volunteer?
Embarking on your volunteer journey is affordable and purposeful! At your orientation session, there’s a one-time $20 fee, covering the cost of your volunteer t-shirt and essential supplies for the volunteer program and our beloved animals. If financial circumstances pose a challenge, don’t hesitate to inform our Volunteer Department. Your dedication is what matters most, and we’d love to welcome you to the team!

Do volunteers get first dibs or discounts on animal adoptions?
Ensuring fairness in the adoption process is key! Adoptions operate on a first-come, first-approved basis to provide equal opportunities for everyone. Currently, there isn’t a special adoption discount specifically for volunteers. However, we appreciate your commitment to our cause, and rest assured, every loving home is valued and celebrated equally!

I need service hours for school or work. Can I complete those here?

Can I do court-ordered service here?
Absolutely! We have a specialized court-ordered service program designed separately from our regular volunteer program. For more details on our court program, please find the information here.
